Running Up That Hill

It doesn't hurt me.
You wanna feel how it feels?
You wanna know, know that it doesn't hurt me?
You wanna hear about the deal I'm making?
You *be running up that hill*
You and me *be running up that hill*

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
Be running up that building.
If I only could, oh...

You don't want to hurt me,
But see how deep the bullet lies.
Unaware that I'm tearing you asunder.
There is thunder in our hearts, baby.
So much hate for the ones we love?
Tell me, we both matter, don't we?

You, *be running up that hill*
You and me, *be running up that hill*
You and me won't be unhappy.

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
Be running up that building,
If I only could, oh...

'C'mon, baby, c'mon, c'mon, darling,
Let me steal this moment from you now.
C'mon, angel, c'mon, c'mon, darling,
Let's exchange the experience, oh...'

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
With no problems

My Struggle

Dear Bloggie,

I'm so grateful to God Almighty because I have more chances to post up weekly blog entries. Something happened, and I will not forget this day and I will take it as a good lesson and experience in the future.

We often heard of people in TV telling how did they faced death situations and death itself. Split seconds decisions were made and they survived one legged on the ground with another still stepping beyond the border of afterlife. I faced death myself, again today.

Najib invited me and few of my closest friends over his house for lunch over at Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor. On our way there there was a river. Most of the part I remembered was shallow and wasn't deep. It was hard to move around because the stones underneath were sharp and there were too many of them. So I assumed this would be a safe normal soaking in the water trip for me, until then.

Faiq, Baha, Lee, and Faisal were enjoying themselves, having their adrenaline rushed in their heads, jumping into the deep part of the river from higher grounds. I was taking their pictures. When they had their turns a few times, I was challenged to jumped as well. I wasn't very sure about the challenge. At first, I wasn't convinced that I was able to do it until Fandi, who is like me, couldn't swim as well jumped and he was ok. To add more, I was guaranteed by the lifeguards down there who was waiting for me to jumped.

I jumped. I landed well. I wasn't hurt, but I didn't managed to hold my breath for too long. I couldn't feel anything underneath the water like I always used to when I soaked myself in the shallow river. I panicked. I tried to float myself like what Baha taught me earlier, but I got panicked even more because I couldn't turned my body facing upwards.

I tried to grab anything I can. I could tell there were hands and bodies that tried to pull me across and push me upwards. I tried very hard to response but I lost their grabs. I began to float in the middle of the the river and deeper into the water. I was drowned.

I couldn't catch any breath so I tried to hold myself. There was a time I thought my face was already on the surface of the water and I tried to breathe, but all I sucked into my throat, nostrils and lungs were water. I panicked even more.

I wasn't afraid of death, honestly, but it was hard when I needed air to breathe. I was helpless for moments. I began to lose hope and giving myself up. I had flashbacks of myself; how I grew up around my parents and siblings, my family and my close friends, the days I had as a teenager and as a growing adult. Ironically, I even thought of Diana. I knew I was smiling when I thought of them, and I stopped moving. Since then, I thought of what would happened after death and what's going to happen to my body, how will it be written in the papers and will it be broadcast on Bulettin Utama. I actually thought of that all in split seconds rather than thinking of how to survive.

I opened my eyes to get my last view because I thought at that point, it was going to be the last time I would see anything. Everything under the water was so clear. I saw the damned stones underneath the water and floating leaves on the surface. I was hoping to see some fishes but that wasn't going to happened. What kind of fish would swim there?

I saw light. I was the sun. Immediately I thought of Holy Spirit; the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins and the life everlasting. I want to live. I had so much energy left and I didn't notice myself. I began to struggle again. I tried to dive upwards to catch some air and I managed to, but I forgot how to float myself and thus I was going into the deep water again. I felt a push on my back and I knew there was a help. I did the right thing to not giving up, someone did try to get me back. It was Baha. He managed to push me to the side of the river and I could feel the ground. I quickly stepped on it and pushed myself. I slowly move myself onto the stones and sat on them. I was saved.

I was so thankful to the guys who tried to save me. I knew God hasn't give up on me. I am so grateful. I truly am.

So this was yet again another story of my life and death situation. My struggle to live yet another few decades ahead. It is hard to live our lives and yet so hard to die as well. People said a cat has seven lives, but I believe as of today that us humans, has a life that we cannot manage to throw away just like that. The effort to keep our candles of life to lit, the struggle throughout the days to live yet another day, the glory we all achieved as we managed to live for a long time.

This was my struggle. My next struggle, is to live and to become glorious.

Couldn't Care Less

It's been 4 weeks or so since my last update. Been quite busy recently. Yep, going to classes and group meeting and stuff. Did a little bit of hang out here and there with friends. Typical college student life I suppose.

So I'm going post a new entry for today's blog of a story of a group of people.

So there was one time, a group of Undead from Undercity Multimedia Masterschool ; Ali, Sali, Abu, Shabu and Dadah planned to go out suddenly and they went to Orgrimmar. They wanted to eat some Gnome Fresh Baked Bread Meat and after that watch a movie called "For The Hordes". The Undead didn't want any of them to be left out so they did asked around for their other Undead friends to join their hangout. Another Undead, Gelap, responded and wanted to join but he said he would be late. He was at Gnomeregan hunting for more Gnome for his family. So the 5 were cool with it, so they waited over in the Orgrimmar while waiting for Gelap who was on his way to Orgrimmar from Gnomeregan.

Gelap did sent messages through the mailbox system to Shabu and he gave a number to contact if there is anything else. Shabu saved the number, and showed the message he received to the rest of the dudes for some reason they weren't sure of but they dig it anyway. So the 5 of them went over to visit the Troll Hunter Trainer for some entertainment ; shooting off some nasty raged Gnomes. Moments later, Gelap called and asked Ali where are they. He was at the wrong place.

"Where are you all?"

"We're over at the Trolls"

"You sure? Because I can't seem to find you people"

"We're not people and you sure you're at the right place, Orgrimmar?"

"Damn no wonder I see Humans walking all over the places, this is Stormwind. I'll catch up with you Undeads in a bit"

And so Gelap said he was at the wrong place to meet up and raced himself towards Orgrimmar.

The Undeads couldn't wait any longer. Gelap was late for at least 4 hours. They tried to contact him with the number he sent earlier, but it turned out to be his sister's number, not his. They also tried to called his number and to no avail. So the patient-less Undeads went into the cinema for the movie they wanted to watch. 30 minutes later after the movie started, Gelap called Ali, again.

"Where are you all?" he asked.

"We're in the cinema already. You're too late and the movie was gonna start"

"I see. We're friends no more"

"Alright see ya later"

And so after they finished the movie they went down the stairs and saw Gelap walking upwards against their direction. They laughed at him as a friendly gesture. Sali and Dadah we're talking about something until they noticed Gelap was already walking towards the upper floor heading towards their direction.

"So where are you guys going to do after this?"

"I don't know just hanging around and head back I guess" Sali answered

"This sucks. Bunch of trashes," he murmured and he walked away.

They next day itself, Gelap was hanging out in Dadah's room. Sali went down to see Dadah and he noticed Gelap was casting some voodoo shaman practice.

"Hey Gelap, what's cooking?" he asked. Gelap couldn't care less about the greeting. Immediately he showed his Undead middle finger to Sali. He couldn't care less about it either because he knew this might happened.

And so the silent treatment continues between both parties. For some reason, Gelap still hang out with Dadah. He did mentioned to another Undead about no going to anywhere if Ali, Sali, Abu and Shabu were to join but he was ok if Dadah's tagging along. Maybe he was picking the person who will be the least to pick on him, or maybe he has no where else to turn to Dadah.

From what I see from this situation, I see no one is right. Maybe he thinks the 5 of them were wrong because they didn't wait for him to join up. Maybe those Undeads think Gelap was wrong because they already waited from him all day long and ruined their plan, who knows? Some think that he was being an egomaniac and expects them to come over and apologize. Apologize on? Maybe the Undeads didn't thought of how hard it was for him to get caught up in the traffic, Barrens and Durotar do have a narrow bridge for thousands of Horde faction races to cross over.

But it all comes down to ignorance and tolerance. Ignorance is a bliss everyone does that and it was proven (hello?). Being tolerant towards something and cool with whatever it is will not gonna ruin everything.

They were cool with it, unlike someone.

----------------

So that wraps up today's entry. I just heard a friend of mine had dropped himself out of the University because he needs a change of environment. He had this weird commitment towards a facebook game called Mafia Wars. He didn't go to class nor did he hang out with his friends in the campus. He did, but he seldom does that, near to never. He's busy hit listing players online but he didn't realized that in reality, he hit listed himself. He's now in Kuching, Cosmo Point so I heard from his roommate.

I bid you good luck my friend. I wish you all the success and God bless.

Yours Sincerely,
