Back in Cyber, AGAIN!

HI IM BACK IN CYBERJAYA~~~! :(

Sure it was fun back in hometown, with family around me and hanging out with my parents, watching football and tennis with my dad, talking to my mom, everything was cool.

Coming back here.. is just not really fun anymore. Last time, I always looking forward to come back to campus because there were lotsa fun and no restrictions at all to do anything. But now that I realize that I'm gonna miss them, it's really a sad thing to leave home. Guess I'm going to call back more often now to see what's going on back there. God bless them and with much love!

Went to church in the morning before I catch my flight. The Bishop was late and he said he didn't know his schedule and he was ready to enjoy his breakfast, kolo mee I guess? Bad bad Bishop. Then after the gospel, we all had to endure his boring speech, even my dad was kinda pissed and shrugged, sitting down restless while bishop was trying to make joke but he doesn't have the talent to be a stand up comedian. Bad enough, we finished the mass at about 9am, an hour late than scheduled normally, but it's ok Bishop, we all are good Roman Catholics. Spending our time to God Almighty and praying to him with faith and belief was worth more than anything else in the world.

Picked up my mom from the hospital, she had a night duty. Then went straight to have our breakfast. I had two bowls of my favorite kolo mee, but it wasn't enough really. My dad's friend who he met coincidentally there boasted about another friend of his can finished up 10 bowls at one go. You gotta be kidding uncle, I can do twice as much as he did :)) I had sushi for 5 person myself, and 10 little bowls of kolo mee aren't really much of a challenge, I mean, SERIOUSLY?? And then we head back home, took a leak, pick up the bags and went to the airport.

After I hugged my parents, went into the security for checks. I left my cellphone and my wallet. I wasn't surprised, I knew I'll left something behind. It wasn't the first time. I've my camera and PSP in LCCT twice. My parents we're a bit surprised of what happened and they came to the security counter and asked what's going on. My dad point at his head and looked at me, telling me how dumb that was. Vintage Papa. It was his usual comical reaction.

In the flight itself I was a bit surprised that there was a hot air stewardess. Hot stewardess on the plane serving you orange juice and meals, yep that was normal. What abnormal about the air stewardess I'm referring to is that she had a male voice. I was shocked. Really. I didn't know MAS hired a transsexual. Did they? No of course they didn't! But it does destroys the image in my head that she was gonna greet me with her mature yet beautiful voice just like she is, but.. my goodness. The good thing was I didn't see a tube stood up hanging between her legs underneath her garments. Thank God. I was lucky I went to church before the flight. God is indeed the greatest of all.

So here I am in my room, updating the blog. It's good to meet up with my friends who I usually hang out with, the group who I call Barisan Kerajaan. These are the guys that go out having meals together, do nonsense and pwns nabs in the game. Yes we do. DotA we pros that leads a group of 5 with the greatest combos in college, CS1.6 we have "a" commander that calls out the strats and headshots people in-game, and we all play World of Warcraft with different class, against all odd together.

But in the end, I felt sad leaving behind what I love most : my family.

Happy Birthday to my niece Ivy Simon ( uran ), she just turned 12. I'll send you your birthday present but don't expect anything fancy. Just another present that is appropriate for your age and I'll promise you, you gonna love it very much! :)

Long Urun Trip

Currently in Sarawak =]

When I first touched down on the land where I was born and raised, to much of my anger, my pc is not functioning properly. I found out that my graphic card is already smashed to smithereens and keep looping on the ati2dvng.exe error. Right now, I'm suffering from an all the time lacking of virtual memory, no photoshop tool, no high performance graphic and RAM, no good, home pc.

Few days ago I was at my (dad's) kampung, where I thought it would be the worst place to spent my semester break. The last time I visited, I hated the place so much. Why?

1. No television

2. No phone reception

3. Mosquitoes

4. No computer

5. No internet lines, wifi, etc.

6. Nothing

I was 15 that time and I must say that I didn't like the environment at all. But after a night stay, I changed my thoughts immediately.

The people there, most of them are related to me, knows me for who I am. It took me a few seconds to remember who were they (i haven't met most of them for years!), I am so sorry :p

It was fun; I didn't have problems with mosquitoes though my mother was being such a nuisance when she asked me to stay in the room when I don't have anything to do (she was worried about me get bitten by the mosquitoes and get malaria and dengue) where obviously I had things then I want to do; chat with my cousins and my nieces, nephews, uncles and aunties. Not to forget the elders who stays in the kampung.

There were 2 separate wedding ceremonies, my cousins'. I was able to snapped a few pictures of the event. I've also witness my nieces performed ngajat (traditional Sarawak Dance) and they were lousy at it :)) everyone who watched the performance laughed at them and they were obviously laughing at themselves while dancing.

When I was on my way back, I was thinking to myself that if I'm gonna stay in the West and work there, I'm gonna have leave behind my wonderful family and my heritages. I'm currently a student in MMU Cyberjaya and study there for 4 years already and I must admit, I've adapted myself to their open culture. I've also speak like them, but that's not really a trouble aye? I've forgot about who I was, where were I'm from.

Most of the 4 years I spent, I didn't go to church and receive my weekly Sacrament of Eucharist. I cannot blame the distance of the church I know from my campus, because as what the priest told me last time, I must have the effort to go there. Call myself a good catholic :))))

I'll definitely gonna miss the place. It was so much fun.

Lets go back again for Gawai =P
